ANNIERESER-MOOREHEAD
Co-Owner/Director
Ms. Annie teaches our Thursday ballet and pointe classes. Annie been dancing for more than twenty years. She holds Vocal Performance degrees from Simpson College and Stephen F. Austin State University, and also studied at the University of Oregon. She has performed in several ballets in the Des Moines area and studied under guest artists with Iowa Dance Theater, Iowa State University, the Kansas City Ballet School, and performed as a guest artist with Flex Performance Group in Oregon.

ASHLEYWICKER
Co-Owner/Director
Ms. Ashley is a graduate of Simpson College and has been teaching at Superstars for eight years. She teaches our Tuesday dance classes with Ms. Kelsey, as well as all of our hip hop classes, and is the coach of our Competition Hip Hop Teams. When she’s not teaching dance, Ms. Ashley works in the operating room, putting her Biology degree to good use.

Cheer/Tumbling
Ms. Eliana grew up in Adel, Iowa, and has done dance and cheer from the age of 5. She danced all through high school on the ADM Dance Team, and she is now part of the Central College Dance Team. At Central she studies Kinesiology with hopes to become a physical therapist. Eliana loves working with kids and is so excited to share her passion for dance in a fun, positive environment!

Ms. Sydney started taking dance classes when she was 3 years old and began dancing competitively at the age of 8 for Almost Famous Dance, Gymnastics, and Cheer in Monticello, Iowa. In ten years of competitive dance experience, she has performed and competed styles such as pom, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and more! Ms. Sydney also taught recreational dance and gymnastics while in high school, led classes and choreographed routines for the Orchesis II dance club at Iowa State University in college, and choreographed a duet for her two younger sisters to compete during the 2024-2025 comp season. Dance is and always has been her passion, and she is so excited to share that passion with the Superstars community!

Ms. Zoie is a former Superstars dance and twirling student, and a returning member of the Superstars staff. At the studio, Ms. Zoie teaches a variety of tap, ballet, tumbling, and hip hop classes. When she is not at the studio, Ms. Zoie is in the classroom as a special education teacher. Her journey in dance began at the age of five, and now, as an instructor, it feels like a full-circle moment. It is her goal to inspire students of all abilities to discover their potential and express themselves through dance.

Ms. Rianna has danced most of her life (roughly 14 years). She grew up dancing in a studio where she was taught jazz, tap, clog, hip hop, and musical theatre. When my time can to go to high school I was on the North Union High School’s dance team for 4 years. After high school, she went on to dance at Iowa Central CC (GO TRITONS!). Ms. Rianna was a captain and a National Hip Hop Champion in 2020! Between high school and college, Ms. Rianna has won 11 Iowa State Dance titles. Overall, she has had so many great dance experiences and she is so excited to share the joy of dance with little ones and all the life lessons that come along with it!

Ms. Jinessa was a competitive dancer for 13 years focusing in the areas of tap, jazz, and hip hop. She has won numerous national titles and was a finalist in the 2021 Bill Riley Talent Show. She graduated from Drake University with a B.A.J in Advertising and Magazine/Brand Media.

KELSYMARTIN
Baton
Ms. Kelsy started dancing at the age of 3, tumbling at the age of 4, twirling baton at the age of 10, and cheering at the age of 11. Ms. Kelsy is a national champion with her former Superstars Performing Arts dance and baton teams, a national champion soloist in baton, as well as a 2-time junior Olympic gold medalist for baton. Ms. Kelsy graduated from DMACC with an AA degree and Grand View University with a Bachelors in Psychology. While attending GVU she was a part of the dance team and often performed fire baton routines at football games. Ms. Kelsy is now working towards her Masters in Forensic Psychology. When she’s not at the studio, Ms. Kelsy loves spending time with her daughter, husband, dogs, and horses.

Ms. Kelsey teaches our Thursday dance classes, and team teaches on Tuesday with Ms. Ashley.

MACKENZIENIDAY

Ms. Mackenzie has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She danced in high school and college and began teaching at her home studio during this time as well. When the studio closed, she jumped into choreographing community theater and high school musicals. She is currently a member of the Storm Chasers Dance Team for the Iowa Barnstormers and is ecstatic to be able to continue dancing in her adult life. Ms. Mackenzie is so excited to get to share her love and passion for dance with the next generation of dancers.
