
 
At Superstars Performing Arts, our students learn skills that develop self-discipline, poise, the ability to perform in front of large audiences, pride in accomplishment and an individual style of expression!
Parents love the small classes which allow for plenty of attention for their student! Our viewing windows are always open, and parents are invited to watch each lesson, if they choose.
Instructors reinforce each child's self-image, respect for others, and teamwork while having fun! The Superstars love to shine and have many wonderful opportunities to perform including our recitals in June. We enforce tasteful, appropriate curriculum, including music and costuming and strive to showcase the full potential of each student.
We would like to take the opportunity to say "THANK YOU" for choosing us. The Superstars was founded by Jan Stivers in 1981 and is now under the direction of longtime staff members Jay Peterson, Dawn Reed, and Jamie Stringer. We pride ourselves on our creating a positive environment for our students and their families.
We encourage clients to check our website frequently for breaking news and studio information. In addition to the website, important information will be sent out via email and posted at the studios. Please take time to read all of this information! If you do not already receive our Superstars announcement emails, please be sure to register your email at the front desk.
At registration, you receive a copy of our important dates calendar and general fees and policies. We encourage clients to read this information carefully as it includes important events for the year and policies concerning drop/change of classes, payment plans, and additional equipment charges. Our recital is divided into 3 shows. The TENTATIVE order of performance for each show is listed below. Please let us know if your child has any routines scheduled back-to-back by May 17. FINAL orders will be posted after May 17.

Superstars Performing Arts has changed shoe vendors. Returning students will not be required to purchase new shoes unless their current shoes do not fit. We felt this was a necessary change to ensure we were offering quality shoes to our clients. We will also utilize the new vendor for our required recital tights; the tights will be tan and will match both styles of shoes. Student shoes and tights can still be ordered at the reception desk. As a reminder the required shoes for each class are provided below:
TAP CLASSES: Tan tap shoe
BATON, JAZZ & POM: Tan jazz shoes/gore boots
HIP HOP: Tan jazz shoes/gore boots
BALLET: Pink ballet shoes
LYRICAL/MODERN: foot undeez
TUMBLING: Barefoot
CHEER: White tennis shoes
** Competition Classes: shoe requirements will be communicated by team director.**
